Description

In this installation we wanted the kitchen to claim the space but deliver it in a way which would see tones harmonise across the entire kitchen. The result was to have the kitchen span across the room, thus giving it presence. Our client wanted to use script, so we employed the script in a way which also allowed the script to settle in the space as opposed to jumping off the page. To achieve that result we avoided using colours or tones that were not already in the kitchen. The only additional element was mirror finishing which we used in the splashback on the left and also the script on the front bench was produced in mirror to allow the colours of the flooring to appear as a reflection.
