An awesome personal sized glass firing kiln. The GTS 18 is the smallest GTS model. It takes up less floor space yet performs with the same confidence and strength as the larger models. It is suitable for private studios and commercial operations and is very capable of slumping, draping, fusing, painting and casting. If you’re just starting hot glass or need something a little extra for your studio the GTS 18 will fit the bill. Stock equipped with manually controlled infinite switches. For the ultimate in control choose the optional, Set-Pro or RampMaster II controllers. These phenomenal controllers offer precise firing.

The V8 Series kilns are designed primarily for glass Vitrigraph work but is very capable of all firing work including use as a ceramic test unit, glass firing, metal clays as well as china and porcelain. It is truly a multi-purpose kiln.

​We’ve mounted our thermocuple (temperature sensor) in the corner which offers more usable floor space and allows for larger pots up to 7.25″ (competitor models have less usable floor space and are limited in pot size to about no larger than 5.5″). A larger pot equals more volume per session.

​The V8 Vitrigraph is designed with a wide-open base that provides plenty of room for glass release and manipulation. It also fits into many of the Vitrigraph stands that are commercially available.
