The Glass Room

Pacific Wave Signature Art Glass

CODE
Glass splashback
DESCRIPTION
Here we have used the glass to provide strength of design to the space, although the clients were requesting a strong single colour be used [ red or green ], the house itself did not support that notion. A two story white house on the lakeside with all internal walls also coloured white. The concept of a harsh snap of colour in such a tranquil setting would have in my view been a calamity The design reflected the view of Lake Hood which you would be looking at if you were standing in the kitchen.

The front section was designed to look as if the glass was a solid slab cutting through the bench top. Important to note that the introduction of the front glass panel has drawn the kitchen out from behind the bench. Increasing the apparent size and visual appeal of this kitchen. The raised section on to of the bench also acted to hide any visual clutter.

Fronts

DESCRIPTION
An extraordinarily strong feature, produced to compliment the lights,

Very striking.

To pull this off we needed a lot of space around the kitchen, we had 2 enormous areas both sides, plus a fantastic view overlooking Clearwater Golf Course.

Overall it sits well in its space.

OZONE GLASS to front only

Glass Bench Front
DESCRIPTION
This was the largest kitchen splashback in New Zealand and may still hold that title. The scale of this kitchen is exceptional allowing use of strong features such as the Ozone glass frontage with LED colour lit bench front. Generous timber paneling to the floors provided a warmth of colour that comfortably supported the colours and textures that this kitchen offered.
